Buse

BuseBuse Industries was founded in 1962 by Jack Buse in St. Louis, Missouri, as a distributor of electronic products. Shortly thereafter, the Company began doing light manufacturing in conjunction with its distribution business. As business grew, more and more manufacturing and assembly capabilities were added.

In the decades since, Buse Industries continued to expand and acquired several other leading cable manufacturing, assembly, and printed circuit board companies. These companies include Connection Concepts Inc. (CCI), RBI, Elite Technologies, Cleveland Cable, Custom Cable Assembly (formerly known as Electronic Harness Assembly), Neeco-Tron, Inc. (NTI) and, most recently, Major Custom Cable (MCC), Inc.

In December of 2018, Buse Industries entered a new era in its storied history, when it moved all operations to a new facility in Hazelwood, Missouri, just two miles north of its previous location in Bridgeton. The new 50,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art building was designed and built from the ground up for Buse’s unique processes, with every department aligned to support a LEAN manufacturing environment.

Today, Buse Industries is jointly owned by Capital for Business (CFB), the wholly owned subsidiary of Commerce Bancshares, Inc., a $22 billion regional bank holding company based in Kansas City, Missouri, MidStates Capital Fund L.P. based in Overland Park, Kansas, Diamond States Ventures (DSV) based in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Konza Valley Capital of Overland Park, Kansas.
