These steel screws are zinc plated to resist corrosion in wet environments. Also known as Delta PT screws, they have a round shank and more sharply angled threads than other thread-forming screws, so they require less driving torque and reduce the risk of cracking thin plastic. A Torx Plus drive allows you to apply extra force with less slippage or damage to the recess. Length is measured from under the head.
