The Sta-Kon RE series Ring Terminal is self-insulated with heat shrinkable polyolefin and internally coated sealant. Upon completed installation, a fully sealed connection is achieved to protect the joint against the degrading effects of galvanic action, corrosion and environmental exposure. Sta-Kon wire termination products are tool-applied solderless connectors that feature a insulation sleeve option that doubles as strain relief for the terminated wire. Brazed or overlapped crimp barrel seams allow installers to crimp anywhere along the barrel’s surface for faster, stronger terminations.
