Morningstar’s innovations, like the Ground Fault Protection Device™ (GFPD), are designed with safety and system integrity in mind. Unlike conventional GFP systems that interrupt the bond to the grounded conductor—potentially leaving systems ungrounded—Morningstar’s GFPD maintains the earth bond while safely isolating faults. This ensures better protection of both the battery and the connected loads.

Solar Charge Controllers

Morningstar’s extensive product line covers a wide range of Current/Voc ratings and battery sizes and chemistries, as well as advanced features and certifications. The health and life of your batteries are greatly impacted by your charge controller brand. All Morningstar charge controllers support Lead-Acid batteries. Morningstar Professional Series MPPT controllers, and TriStar and ProStar (Gen3) controllers can also support Lithium, NiCd, and other battery chemistries with proper custom charge settings programming. Off Grid Inverters

Morningstar’s off-grid inverters include our new, comprehensive, SureSine line, our response to the demand for “a Morningstar of inverters” built to the same high standards as our iconic charge controllers. With six new models and a variety of power, voltage and connection options, they greatly expand our inverter offering started with the acclaimed SureSine Classic, our powerful and compact inverter for environmentally extreme applications.
