The MPU16C series is a family of desktop power supplies (external power supplies) that are designed to offer 13W-15W continuous output power with a single output of either 5v, 12v, 24v, or, 36v (coming with a universal input of 80-275 Vac) at an efficiency of 73% and above. The power modules can operate in an operating temperature range of -10 to +70°C with a 3000M altitude operational ability.
The medical power supplies are burn-in test conducted and offer class I operation, low leakage current, overload protection (OLP), crowbar mode overvoltage protection (OVP), and 2 x MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) classification to ensure the safety of the patient, caregiver, and device to which the power supply is applied. The series owns comprehensive protection designs along with all-inclusive safety certifications and conforms to major international safety standards including IEC/ES/EN/CSA C22.2 60601-1. All modules are fully compliant with RoHS directive.
The MPU16C switching power supplies are designed for medical applications and are ideal for medical devices such as ECG, EEG, blood chemistry analyzers, portable health monitors, etc. The series features a type C AC inlet (IEC320 C6); please check the MPU16A series for a type A AC inlet (IEC320 C14), and the MPU16B series for a type B AC inlet (IEC320 C8).
