Lisle, IL, USA — March 20, 2000 — Molex Incorporated (NASDAQ:MOLX and MOLXA), a global electronic components company, today announced that it has completed the transaction to acquire the Beau Interconnect division of Axsys Technologies Inc. of Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Beau Interconnect division, located in Gilford, New Hampshire, is a leading supplier of power interconnection technology to the industrial market. The company specializes in U.S. and Eurostyle terminal blocks, barrier blocks and connectors. Beau employs approximately 240 people in its offices and manufacturing facilities and had sales of approximately $19.5 million in 1999.
