Darfon Electronics was incorporated in 1997 and is headquartered in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. On March 12, 1998 it went public. Its main products include power components (51.65%, mainly Inverter), peripheral component (25.4%, mainly keyboard for desktop and notebook computers), and integrated communication components (22.95%, mainly MLCC).Currently Darfon Electronics Corp. was the world’s second largest backlight module converter manufacturer and the world’s second largest notebook computer keyboard manufacturer.
Darfon Electronics is principally engaged in the research and development, manufacture and distribution of computer peripheral precise products and green energy product components. The Company’s computer peripheral products includes keyboards for notebooks and desktop computers, keyboards for smart phones, tablet computers, mouse, precision molds and casings, among others. Its green energy products components include surface mounting transformers, Light Emitting Diode (LED) backlight module converters, LED lighting power supplies and solar inverters.
Darfon Electronics also provides capacitors, inductors, and bead products. In addition, it offers robot cleaners, server storage BBUs, and e bike and high voltage automobile batteries; and micro inverter solar power systems and hybrid solar power systems. Further, the company provides battery pack products, such as vacuum cleaners, robot cleaners, multi function cleaners, handheld cleaners, and portable TV and camera products; micro inverters, hybrid inverters and systems, and energy storage devices; and outdoor lighting rugged and panel backlight drivers, as well as charger and power supplies, such as e bike chargers. It has operations in Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan, Korea, the United States, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Germany.
