Ericsson Components AB was a company that made electronic components . It was formed out of the approximately four-fifths of RIFA AB in 1988 when the capacitor manufacturing in the RIFA AB was sold to Finvest Oy . Finvest was then also have access to the brand RIFA, and Ericsson had to find a new name for their own component manufacturing operations. At its inception in 1988, the company had 2160 employees and the company made when power electronics , integrated circuits , printed circuit boards , fiber optics , line circuits and resistance .
