HIRELCO’s patented self locking mechanism has been integrated into several MIL-DTL and European specification product lines as well as their custom designed plugs. HiRel Connectors self-locking system ensures that the connector will not back off under extreme vibration. Due to our superior design, HIRELCO has been incorporated into the most critical areas of our customers’ final assemblies.
HiRel Connectors Inc. (HIRELCO) was founded in 1967 as a small business specializing in hermetic connectors primarily for military-based applications. Throughout the years, HIRELCO has evolved into an industry leader whose expertise is in designing and manufacturing custom and MIL-SPEC interconnect products for a variety of industries. Today, the HIRELCO group employs about 310 people among five facilities in the beautiful college towns of Claremont and Pomona, California. HiRel Connectors produces 100% of their parts right here in the United States. HIRELCO’s capabilities include designing, manufacturing and marketing electrical connectors, interconnect systems, specialty cables and connector accessories.
