Mosaic Semiconductor was launched by Hittite Microwave Products in 1988 to address the USA marketplace with its own manufacturing capability. Mosaic Semiconductor designs and manufactures memory solutions for a wide range of commercial and military applications, offering innovative, very high density, high speed, wide data width memory products.
Hittite Microwave Products (HMP) specializes in slow and fast SRAM, FLASH and EEPROM memory technology, with a range of standard ceramic monolithic products in DIL, LCC, JLCC and VIL packages. Module products are primarilly based on the ceramic 66pin PGA, 68pin PLCC and 68pin Gullwing footprint. HMP launched Mosaic Semiconductor in 1988 to address the USA marketplace with its own manufacturing capability. Mosaic Semiconductor was subsequently acquired by APTA in March, 2000.
