Silanna Semiconductor PTY Ltd. develops semiconductor solutions for consumer, industrial, medical, telecommunications, and aerospace/defense markets. It offers port isolators; power products, such as switching devices for the voltage regulator market; and semiconductor devices for isolation and power applications. Silanna Semiconductor PTY Ltd. was formerly known as Sapphicon Semiconductor Pty Limited and changed its name to Silanna Semiconductor PTY Ltd. in October 2010.
Silanna develops semiconductor processes that reduce the on-resistance and the capacitance of transistors. Those processes are “ported” into world class foundries and then combined with Silanna’s state-of-the-art designs. The end result are high performance world class commercial semiconductor devices for RF, Power, and Space applications.
In 2008, Silanna acquired our Silicon-on-Sapphire (SoS) fabrication facility in Sydney, Australia. Along with this purchase, Silanna acquired an experienced team with a proud 45 year history in delivering cutting edge semiconductor solutions to the most stringent standards. Silanna’s SoS fab continues to ship hundreds of millions of devices around the world to a wide range of customers in consumer, industrial, medical, telecommunications and aerospace/defense markets.
