ARINC 429
Holt holds the largest ARINC 429 IC product portfolio, from simple analog bus interfaces to protocol ICs with on-chip FIFOs or RAM. LCD Display Drivers
Holt’s LCD Display Drivers are designed for high-voltage LCD applications, converting 5V serial data to parallel waveforms with amplitudes up to 30V. These devices are cascadable, making them suitable for larger displays.

ARINC 825 (CAN)
Holt is the first to offer an ARINC 825-compliant CAN controller with an integrated transceiver. Their CAN devices support digital logic from 2.5V to 5V and operate across a wide temperature range (-55°C to +125°C, with select products up to 200°C). These devices offer features like deep FIFOs, flexible frame filtering, short-circuit protection, and a compact footprint. They also provide protocol bridge ICs to connect ARINC 429 and ARINC 825 (CAN) buses.
Discrete-to-Digital / Drivers
Holt offers Discrete-to-Digital components for sensing Open/Ground and 28V/Open signals, ideal for applications like hatch or door detection. Driver products offer flexibility to control various loads.
RS485 / 422
Holt’s RS-485/422 transceivers are designed to meet specific application needs, featuring high-temperature operation (up to 200°C), controlled slew rate for optimized EMI performance, and full or half-duplex versions.
ARINC 717
The HI-3717 device, designed for flight data recorders, communicates with microcontrollers via SPI and supports HBP and BPRZ channels with encoders/decoders. It also includes line drivers and receivers for direct ARINC 717 bus connection.
Analog Switches
Holt’s analog switches, available in various configurations, are built on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology for latch-up-free operation and low leakage, ideal for precision applications. Select products are rated for operation up to 200°C.
Ethernet
Holt provides Ethernet PHY transceivers designed for avionics with extended temperature ranges (-55°C to 125°C) and optional burn-in, ensuring reliability and eliminating the need to up-screen commercial devices.
