Mallory
Mallory is a recognized leader in passive electronic components stemming from its beginning in 1917. Cornell Dubilier Electronics (CDE)
acquired the capacitor division of North American Capacitor Company (NACC), which owned the Mallory brand, to expand its power capacitor portfolio. Mallory capacitors, particularly known for their use in vintage-style electronics, are now produced and branded under CDE.
Mallory was a US producer of dry cell batteries (Mercury; alkaline Duracell), electronic components including electrolytic capacitors, and audible warning devices (“Sonalert”). It also was the parent firm of Mallory Batteries Ltd., an Irish producer of Ever Ready batteries.
