Eriflex

EriflexnVent Eriflex is renowned for producing high-quality flexible conductors for low-voltage power connections. These flexible conductors, made from braids or laminates, are used in a variety of applications for current transfer or grounding/earthing connections. nVent Eriflex offers a comprehensive range of low-voltage stand-off insulators, with 29 sizes available. These cost-effective insulators provide excellent stability in electrical and mechanical parameters and offer high resistance to leakage current. They are manufactured from a halogen-free, fiberglass-reinforced thermoset unsaturated polyester molded compound (BMC) and feature electro-plated zinc inserts threaded to ASME® standards. The insulators operate in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 266°F and meet the requirements of UL® 94 VO for self-extinguishing materials. They are UL Recognized to Standard 891, Annex G, for Dead-front Switchboards and Accessories (File No. E125470) and are also UL recognized in Canada for material and strength. nVent Eriflexinsulators are the first on the market to comply with the CSA® standard.

Flexibar Innovations

nVent ERIFLEX Flexibar features grooves on the inner surface of the insulation sleeve, improving the sliding between the central conductor and the insulation material. These grooves reduce the contact surface between the central conductor and the insulation material, enhancing the flexibility of the busbar.

nVent ERIFLEX Flexibar cross sections are made from multiple layers of thin electrolytic copper insulated with a high-resistance, self-extinguishing PVC or silicone compound. The advanced insulation provides a safer option that is low-smoke, flame-retardant, and halogen-free.

These flexible busbars can be bent, folded, or twisted, offering a very small bending radius for shorter and more compact power connections, improved aesthetics, and easier installation.
