HTR Silicon Coated Wirewound Resistors
Quick Overview
HTR WIRE WOUND RESISTORS – SILICONE COATED
HTR wirewound resistors are designed with a multilayer silicone coating to provide maximum protection for the resistors/wires. They offer improved performance through close tolerance, a low temperature coefficient, and excellent operational stability under severe environmental conditions.
Details
HTR’s product range includes a variety of wirewound resistors, featuring radial type silicon-coated resistors, tubular and axial wirewound resistors with silicone coating. High reliability is ensured by using a chemically inert ceramic core that is centerless ground for uniformity, a carefully selected wire element, and a fully welded construction from terminal to terminal.
HTR wirewound resistors are manufactured using high-quality resistance wires wound on ceramic substrates. The resistors are coated with layers of flame-proof epoxy and feature tubular, radial and axial lead wires. These silicone-coated axial resistors do not compromise quality while providing an economical option. Having a high purity alumina core provides a good size to wattage ratio.
HTR Silicon Coated Wirewound Resistors are high-stability power resistors designed for continuous power applications, featuring a non-flammable silicon cement coating. This series offers a wide range of resistance values, including non-inductive and variable types. Customization options for termination and mounting are also available, ensuring ease of adaptation to specific requirements.
