With monthly production of up to 1 billion capacitors from over 8,000 product items, Rubycon ranks as one of the largest suppliers of miniature electrolytic capacitors. Large-scale production, vertical integration, and quality resulting from innovative technology are synonymous with the name Rubycon.
Company was founded in April 1952 as Nippon Denkai Seisakusho Co., Ltd. by Teruo Tonouchi the current chairman with merely 8 employees. It was still in the period of confusion after the war, and there were a lot of difficulties to overcome in building the firm basis of business, as many people in the same age experienced back then.
Now, 60 years since then, Rubycon has a total of 14 factories and 22 sales offices with over 3000 employees worldwide.
