Located in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, Bavaria, near Germany’s Silicon Valley, STELCO GmbH Electronic Components produces a wide range of passive ceramic-based and piezoelectronic components for the telecommunications, automotive, and other electronics industries worldwide. Founded in 1999, STELCO was acquired by the SUMIDA Group (Tokyo, Japan) in December 2004, aligning with SUMIDA’s strategy to expand its presence in Europe. In 2009, the company was renamed SUMIDA Components GmbH.

Company History and Evolution STELCO GmbH originated from Stettner GmbH & Co, which was founded in 1922. Since joining the SUMIDA Group in 2005, the company has expanded its production capabilities, supplying passive electronic components to telecommunications, automotive, and other leading global electronics manufacturers. In addition to its in-house production in Neumarkt, SUMIDA Components GmbH collaborates with production partners in Eastern Europe.
