PROCOM A/S is a top provider of antenna systems for professional wireless 2-way radio communication, offering antennas, filters, and combiners. Serving police, fire brigades, defense forces, and the maritime industry, Procom holds a strong position across marine, defense, public safety, transportation, and industrial markets with a broad international client base.
Founded in 1980, Procom remained under its founders’ ownership until 2008, when CEO Peter Borregaard became a co-owner. VIA invested in Procom in October 2013, boosting revenues from approximately DKK 115 million to DKK 160 million. The 2014 acquisition of UK-based Skymasts Antennas Ltd. was pivotal to this growth.
On August 18, 2015, Copenhagen-based Via Venture Partners and management sold Procom A/S to Amphenol Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of interconnect and antenna products.
