2572437 LOCTITE® EA 3501HT Epoxy Gray, Heat Cure Multi Purpose Pail
The Loctite 2572437 is a single part system that requires a heated cure, as an epoxy seam sealant. It was intentionally designed for use on either primed or bare, oily metal, in preparation for high temperature paint bake processing which would include metal pre-treatment, e-coat/primer paint and powder/top-coat stages. This epoxy is well-suited to work with most metal pre-treatment processes, and is able to maintain its original physical properties and performance even after going through a paint bake process where temperatures reach up to 437°F (225°C). Loctite 2572437 is an amazingly versatile epoxy and is suitable to be used on a wide range of substrate gauges which would include thin sheet metals as well as rigid castings and extrusions. Common applications for the use of this epoxy include the sealing of metal seams between welded/bonded joints, overlapping joints, butt joints, as well as any other visible seam which would require sealing.
LOCTITE® EA 3501HT is a flexible one-part heat-cure epoxy seam sealant designed for use on primed or bare oily metal which will go through a high temperature paint bake process. LOCTITE EA 3501HT is compatible with most metal pretreatment processes and maintains its physical properties and performance even after paint bake processes that reach 225°C. This material is pumpable without preheating and easy to smooth by finger or with a smoothing agent after application.
