8536SHO2V02S is a Square D 3-pole, 540 amp, 600 volt non-reversing motor starter designed for industrial motor control applications.This NEMA Size 6 full voltage magnetic starter features a 120 VAC coil voltage and is rated for 400 HP at 460 VAC. It is an open type starter with melting alloy thermal overload protection and screw clamp terminals for electrical connections. The starter is UL listed, CSA certified, and built to meet NEMA standards.

Type S NEMA motor starters are used for full voltage starting and stopping of AC squirrel cage motors. Type S motor starters have ratings up to 810 amperes. This 3 pole NEMA Size 6 non-reversing starter has a 540 ampere rating. This NEMA Size 6 motor starter has 3 phase ratings of 150 HP at 200 VAC, 200 HP at 230 VAC and 400 HP at 460 and 575 VAC. This non-reversing NEMA motor starter has a melting alloy type overload relay that uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. Type S motor starters are available with replaceable coils in a wide variety of voltages. This starter has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz operating coil wired for separate control.
