Description
The Dell PowerEdge R540 is a 2U, dual-socket rack server designed for versatile performance across a range of workloads such as web hosting, file/print services, and light virtualization. It supports up to two Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, up to 1TB of DDR4 memory, and provides flexible storage options with configurations supporting up to 14 3.5″ drives or 16 2.5″ drives, including support for SSDs. The R540 offers a balance of performance, storage capacity, and affordability for growing businesses and general-purpose use.
