Based in California, and with a strong presence in aerospace and military markets, Sunbank is the world’s second-largest producer of accessories for electrical wiring harness connectors and conduits. Formed in 1958, Sunbank has 500 staff and annual earnings of 45 million dollars. Sunbank is a Southern California-based manufacturer of connector accessories, backshells, and conduit systems for the aerospace and industrial markets. In 2013, Sunbank was acquired by Esterline Technologies, the parent company of Souriau. This acquisition expanded Souriau’s connector product breathe and their reach into the US marketplace.
