Hirose FH28 Series 0.5mm Pitch 80 Way 1 Row Right Angle SMT Female FPC Connector Locking Mechanism
FH28 series SMT horizontal mount FPC/FFC ZIF connectors with a 0.5mm contact pitch that can support FPC/FFC with a standard thickness of 0.3mm. These 0.5mm FPC/FFC SMT ZIF connectors have a strong FFC/FPC retention force, a 2.55mm above board profile and a rotational finger operated flip-lock actuator that allows easy insertion and reliable connection of the FPC/FFC, this actuator also negates the need for side latches enabling connectors to be mounted side by side. The body of these FH28 series 0.5mm FPC/FFC ZIF connectors is made from grey UL94V-0 LCP with a solid bottom surface (no contact exposure) enabling the FPC/FFC connector to be mounted over conductive traces on the PCB and has built-in side guides allowing accurate insertion of the FPC/FFC. The contacts are made from phosphor bronze with a gold flash plating.
