Description
NTC Power Thermistor for surge current suppression 10 Ohms (25°C)Imax=2A r=7.5mm 11mW 2Pin Radial
Jocol The MSR power type NTC thermistor is a fine semiconductor electronic ceramic element manufactured by using manganese oxide or the like as a main raw material. The resistance value changes nonlinearly with temperature, and the resistance value decreases as the temperature increases. Using this feature, an MSR thermistor is connected in series with the input of the circuit to increase the impedance of the line, thus effectively suppressing the surge current generated by the surge voltage generated when the switch ‘relay’ solenoid valve operates. When the circuit enters steady state operation, the resistance of the resistor becomes small due to the heat generated by the MSR thermistor caused by the continuous operating current in the line, and the influence on the line can be completely ignored. This product is mainly used to replace the role of cement resistors in power and TV displays.
