Serving as a primary manual disconnect, the Siemens MXD63S800A provides reliable circuit isolation for high-capacity industrial systems. This unit mount switch fits Sentron S4 and S5 panelboards, SB-series switchboards, and motor control centers. Designed strictly for switching rather than standard overcurrent protection, the 3-pole device features an 8000A instantaneous override to protect the switch internals from severe short-circuit faults while maintaining a 65kA SCCR at 240VAC.
