Description
The National Instruments NI 9213 16 TC, 78 mV High-Density Thermocouple Module for use with CompactDAQ and NI CompactRIO chassis includes a 24-bit delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter, anti-aliasing filters, open thermocouple detection, and cold-junction compensation for high-accuracy thermocouple measurements. The NI 9211 features NIST-traceable calibration and a channel-to-earth ground double isolation barrier for safety, noise immunity, and high common-mode voltage range.
The NI-9213 Thermocouple Input Module can be used with numerous types of software, which includes the LabVIEW Professional Development System for Windows, the NI LabVIEW FPGA Module, and the NI LabVIEW Real-Time Module. For the input circuitry process, the channels on the National Instruments NI-9213 Module all pass through a differential filter. The next step consists of multiplexing the channel. Lastly, the channel is sampled by a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The channels have the same ground, COM, which is secluded from additional modules in the system.
