Description
OutBack PNL-GFDI-80Q PV Ground-Fault Detector Interrupter Breaker, (1).5A ganged with (4)80A, 150VDC, 4-pole, Panel Mount, 1/4″ Stud, 2.775″ Wide
The OutBack PV Ground-Fault Detection and Interruption System protects wiring and system components for one, two or four PV arrays when used in a GSLC, FLEXware 250, FLEXware 500 or FLEXware 1000. When a ground fault occurs, the 0.5 amp breaker will trip. Due to the common internal tripping mechanism, all other breakers connected to the GFDI will also trip and shut power down. All power production from PV array charge controllers ceases when the breakers trip and remove their connection to the batteries. Ground fault detection and interruption is required by the NEC as a safety precaution.
Front panel mount with stud terminals on the back. Ring Terminals.
Uses five 3/4″ wide panel mount breaker spaces.
OutBack Power PNL-GFDI-80Q > 80 Amp 150 VDC Four Pole Panel Mount Ground Fault Detector Interruptor
The OutBack Power Systems’ Ground Fault Detector Interrupter (GFDI) is a safety device for a photovoltaic (PV) array. In the event that the array becomes shorted to ground, it disconnects the PV system from the batteries. The GFDI consists of a single 0.5 amp breaker, mechanically connected to a combination of 1, 2, or 4 standard OutBack 80 amp breakers
Outback PNL-GFDI-80Q front panel mount GFI with stud terminals on the back. One 0.5 amp breaker ganged with four 80 amp breakers with common trip. 1/4″ stud ring terminals required. Width: approximately 3.77″ – uses five of the standard .75″ breaker slots in enclosure. Ground fault protection is required by the NEC for PV arrays mounted on or within a specified vicinity of residential dwelling roofs as a safety precaution. The OutBack PV Ground Fault Protection System protects wiring and system components for one or two PV arrays when used in a FLEXware 250, FLEXware 500 or FLEXware 1000.
