Description

The SKPB36BD0800 is an 800A, 3-pole molded case circuit breaker from GE’s Spectra RMS series. It utilizes a solid-state electronic trip unit for precise industrial power protection. Designed for unit mounting, it installs into GE Spectra switchboards and panelboards. For modern upgrades, it is replaced by the ABB XT7LU380EGFF000XXX using a retrofit kit. Spectra RMS Molded Case Circuit Breakers (SE150, SF250, SG600 and SK1200) have a digital, solid state, RMS sensing trip system with field installable, front-mounted rating plugs to establish or change the breaker ampere rating. Adjustable instantaneous with tracking short-time is standard on all frames. The trip system uses digital sampling to determine the RMS value of sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal currents.
