The Energy Storage Rack (ESR) series fuses are tailored to protect battery racks from various fault currents, preventing equipment damage and costly system failures. These high-speed, square body fuses act swiftly to safeguard battery modules and other components in energy storage systems, power conversion systems, DC common bus systems, and hybrid PV-BESS inverters.
Hollyfuse storage fuses are meticulously engineered and tested to deliver superior protection for high-power battery charging and management systems. Proper circuit protection sizing is crucial to avoid catastrophic failures, and the choice of protection component depends on factors such as system voltage, nominal current, time constant, withstand rating of interconnecting components, ambient conditions, and the component’s location within the system. Fuses are available in ranges from 10A to 500A.
The NH fuse series is designed specifically to protect battery systems, offering full-range protection from small overcurrents to DC fault currents up to 150kA. The NH gBat fuses cover various ratings: 1000VDC for NH1 and NH2 sizes, and 1500VDC for NH1XL, NH2XL, and NH3L sizes. They are available with bolted blades for direct mounting or plain blades.
