Loctite gasket adhesives and sealants are designed to create and prolong the life of gaskets, offering resistance to pressure and temperature while preventing leaks of moisture, gas, and fluids. These silicone-based products form gaskets in place, with some curing instantly and others requiring up to 24 hours for full strength.

Loctite gasket sealants bond two surfaces, such as flanged components, to prevent leaks. Also known as gasket dressings, they reinforce existing gaskets, extending their lifespan. Gasket adhesives secure material gaskets during assembly but do not provide sealing. Gasket makers offer excellent gap-filling properties, eliminating the need for traditional gaskets. RTV gasket makers cure at room temperature, while anaerobic gasket makers cure in the absence of air, ideal for tightly machined parts. Gasket-making tape offers a quick, mess-free sealing solution for flanged joints, minimizing system downtime.
