Connectors provide a separable electro-mechanical interface between two subsystems, typically a device or two wire harnesses.

We offer a broad range of off-the-shelf and custom designed connectors that improve system integrity to all network devices, while supporting a full range of applications and environmental conditions. Device/Inline Connectors
The YESC Series represents an important resource for a broad range of connector applications. Standards, hybrids, custom designs; sealed or unsealed—Yazaki has the connector system to meet your requirements.

Unsealed YESC: Yazaki’s wide range of unsealed connectors is available for immediate delivery. Terminal blade sizes are in accordance with USCAR and ISO standards. Yazaki’s Terminal Position Assurance Device is available front-loaded and preset to the connector housing. The Connector Position Assurance Device is available preset to the female terminal connector housing. Yazaki’s YESC Series is compatible with a wide range of wire sizes and gauge requirements.

Standard Unsealed YESC: Yazaki’s wide range of standard unsealed connectors is available for immediate delivery. Terminal blade sizes are in accordance with USCAR and ISO standards.

Specialty Unsealed YESC: Yazaki’s wide range of specialty unsealed connectors is available in bolt assist, low insertion force (LIF), and axial adjustable. Terminal blade sizes are in accordance with USCAR and ISO standards.

Hybrid Unsealed YESC: Available to meet a wide range of applications, Yazaki Hybrid YESC can be configured to accept multiple levels of current based on blade size.

Sealed YESC: Yazaki’s YESC Series has evolved from decades of intensive design refinement. Yazaki sealed YESC, protected from moisture and other contaminants is available in a wide range, and ready for immediate delivery. Terminal blade sizes are in accordance with USCAR and ISO standards: Yazaki’s Terminal Position Assurance Device is available front-loaded and preset to the connector housing, connector cannot be mated if preset terminal spacer is not in the full-lock position. The Connector Position Assurance Device is available preset to the female terminal connector housing. Yazaki’s YESC Series is compatible with a wide range of wire sizes and current gauge requirements.

Specialty Sealed YESC: Yazaki specialty sealed YESC are available for lamp sockets and fuel injector. Terminal blade sizes are in accordance with USCAR and ISO standards.

Header Connectors

Safety Connectors
Yazaki’s safety connectors are designed to ensure reliable performance, ease of handling and increased efficiency on the vehicle assembly line for inflatable restraint, seat-belt pretension and other safety-related systems.

High-Speed Connectors
Yazaki’s high-speed connectors are developed to meet the increasing demands of consumers and their desire for richer in-vehicle multimedia experiences. High voltage Connectors
A leader in high voltage connection system development since 1990, Yazaki draws on extensive experience in wire harnesses, connectors and battery posts/terminals. Yazaki has developed components for high voltage applications, electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV), working with customers that include Toyota, DaimlerChrysler, Honda, GM, Ford and Nissan.

Yazaki meets customer needs with technologies that include EMI shielded connection systems; “last-mate/first-break” safety features (assures system is not “live” until connection is made), high voltage/low current systems (utilize standard terminal system), and conductive and inductive charging systems.

Today, every hybrid electric vehicle on the road contains at least one Yazaki high-voltage product.
