NJRC

New Japan Radio Co., Ltd. (NJRC) is a premier Japanese manufacturer specializing in semiconductor integrated circuits, microwave and microelectronic components, and microwave application products used in satellite broadcasting, satellite communications, and terrestrial communication systems. Headquartered in Tokyo, NJRC operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Nisshinbo Holdings Inc. since 2018.

Originally established in 1959 as a joint venture between Raytheon and Japan Radio Company (JRC), NJRC has evolved from its early roots in radio and wireless technology to become a global leader in bipolar and CMOS linear ICs, as well as microwave components and tubes.

NJRC holds the largest global market share in supplying essential components for VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) systems, including Block Up Converters (BUCs) and Low Noise Block Down Converters (LNBs). It is the only Japanese company—and among a select few globally—specializing in this niche. Its products compete with those from leading manufacturers such as Norsat, SMW, GeoSat, CEFD, and Actox.
