Beckman Instruments, a well-known name in the electronics industry, produced resistor networks and potentiometers among other electronic components. Their resistor networks were designed for precision and reliability in various applications, offering consistent performance in circuit design. Potentiometers produced by Beckman were used for voltage division, variable resistors, and sensor applications, providing accurate and adjustable resistance.

In 1988, Beckman was acquired by BI Technologies, a company specializing in a wide range of electronic components including potentiometers, sensors, resistors, transformers, and inductors. After the acquisition, BI Technologies continued to produce and innovate these electronic components, maintaining a reputation for quality and performance.

BI Technologies eventually became part of the TT Electronics group, a global provider of engineered electronics for performance-critical applications. As part of TT Electronics, the legacy of Beckman’s resistor networks and potentiometers continued under the BI Technologies brand, ensuring a continuation of high-quality electronic components for various industries such as automotive, industrial, and aerospace.

Beckman produced resistor networks and potentiometers. Beckman was acquired by BI Technologies. BI produced Potentiometers, sensors, resistors, transformers and inductors. BI Technologies is now part of the TT Electronics group.

The BI Technologies product line encompasses trimming potentiometers, precision potentiometers, position sensors, turns counting dials, resistor and resistor networks, integrated passive networks, transformers and inductors, and custom integration of these technologies. The BI Technologies Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of TT Electronics.

BI Technologies designs and manufactures electronic components for customers across defense and aerospace, medical, transportation, energy and industrial electronics markets. Key application areas are transportation – steering systems, braking/lighting circuits and pro-audio. Products include: trimming and precision potentiometers, position sensors, turns counting dials, resistor and resistor networks, integrated passive networks, transformers, inductors, hybrid and power hybrid microcircuits, and customer integration of these technologies.
