Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. designs, manufactures, and sells discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components across the United States, Germany, the rest of Europe, Israel, and Asia. The company operates through six business segments: Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors (MOSFETs), Diodes, Optoelectronic Components, Resistors, Inductors, and Capacitors.

The MOSFETs segment produces low- and medium-voltage TrenchFET MOSFETs, high-voltage planar and Super Junction MOSFETs, power ICs, and integrated function power devices. The Diodes segment includes rectifiers, small-signal and protection diodes, thyristors/silicon-controlled rectifiers, and power modules. The Optoelectronic Components segment supplies both standard and custom products such as infrared (IR) emitters and detectors, IR remote control receivers, optocouplers, solid-state relays, optical sensors, LEDs, seven-segment displays, and IR data transceiver modules.

The Resistors segment manufactures resistors used to control and regulate voltage and current in electronic circuits. The Inductors segment provides inductors that use internal magnetic fields to alter current phase and resist alternating current. The Capacitors segment offers products designed to store and release electrical energy.

Vishay markets its products under well-known brands including Siliconix, Dale, Draloric, Beyschlag, Sfernice, MCB, UltraSource, Applied Thin-Film Products, IHLP, HiRel Systems, Sprague, Vitramon, Barry, Roederstein, ESTA, Ametherm, and BCcomponents. The company serves a wide range of industries, including industrial, automotive, telecommunications, computing, consumer electronics, power supplies, military and aerospace, and medical markets.
